A strong group of partners have brought the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre from dream to reality. Government partners providing advice and financial support include BC Provincial Government, Government of Canada (Indian and Northern Affairs Canada and Western Economic Diversification), and Resort Municipality of Whistler.
As a Shared Legacy Project, the Centre benefits from the strong support of the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC).
RBC, the Premier National Banking Partner of the 2010 Winter Games, is a major sponsor. The Museum of Anthropology is acting as the exhibition and curatorial advisor.
The Four Seasons Whistler Resort, the only five diamond hotel in Canada, is our catering partner.
Presenting Partner - Bell Canada
As a Premier National Partner of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, Bell Canada is proud to cooperate with the Squamish Nation and Lil'wat Nation to support the creation of a Cultural Centre that will educate visitors about BC's rich First Nations cultural heritage, and support the economic development of the Squamish Nation and the Lil'wat Nation.
The Virtual Exhibit was made possible with the support of the Department of Canadian Heritage through Canadian Culture Online.
