A strong group of partners have brought the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre from dream to reality. Government partners providing advice and financial support include BC Provincial Government, Government of Canada (Indian and Northern Affairs Canada and Western Economic Diversification), and Resort Municipality of Whistler.

As a Shared Legacy Project, the Centre benefits from the strong support of the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC).

RBC, the Premier National Banking Partner of the 2010 Winter Games, is a major sponsor. The Museum of Anthropology is acting as the exhibition and curatorial advisor.
